| Pfizer's corona vaccine is up to 97% effective |
The Corona vaccine, co-produced by US company Pfizer and German company Biotech, is providing more protection than previously thought.
According to the French news agency, a report published by pharmaceutical companies on Thursday said that the Faiz-Biotech vaccine has proved to be effective in 97% of patients with corona symptoms.
Faiz-Bayon Tech says the findings are based on information gathered during Israel's nationwide vaccination campaign.
According to the data collected by the companies, the vaccine proved to be effective in up to 94% of patients without symptoms.
It is to be noted that in the previous results, this vaccine was giving effective results up to 94% in patients with symptoms and 92% in patients without symptoms.
